Hi all
i just got RS for my pc (vista home) and i cant connect online i did delete the GSROUTER's file that i hear causes a problem but it still says `user id not registred` ( i am registred) i did email ubisoft they are totally no help all they said was game not supported 4 vista,,but the game is supported i read it on the case.
so does anyone no what the problem i wanna play on the SAS server.

do you have 32 or 64 bit vista? if you have 64 maybe rvs doesnt work w/ 64 bit - RVS works for me :S

no i have 32 bit,,oh and i just rembred evry time i did try online norton said it has blocked an intrusion attempt and i did turn it off but same thing happned.

just unblock ravenshield from norton its safe, but ther mite be some updates that you need to operate RVS on Vista

the only thing i had to do to get RvS to work w/ vista was tell vista to allow it access to the net when the pop up came

Simple: kill norton, install a real solution, play more RvS,
Ubisoft does not support RvS on anything later then NT 5.1 (XP), and while it can be used fine on Vista - Ubisoft is free to tell anyone to go to hell any time, any platform, because the game really is that old
does vista have that deal like xp where you have to right click the .exe file and tell it to simulate an earlier OS.........XP in this case?
it has that option but at least for vista home premium i have not had to use compatibility mode for RVS - actually ive never had to use compatibility mode for any OS. the only vista problem ive ever encountered is that on Ghost Recon for w/e reason i cannot do the SP training scenarios.
and i agree w/ spidey - kill norton lol
