i read a lot about the brothers in arms song here...surely one of the best ever.
For all those, who are interested in live songs from mark k. should check out the b. i. a. version of this album:
Mark Knopfler - On The Road To Milano (2005). Couldnt find a video. But
Ya, I listen to a lot of 80s hard-rock and metal bands, and Skid-Row is definitely one of my favorites, along with some GN'R, Motley Crue, Iron Maiden, Sabbath, Cooper, Dio, etc. etc. etc.
I'm currently working on gathering up as much of my favorites as I can, so far I have over 250 albums.
The bug of this thread having 6 pages, and the last one being blank, is driving me nuts... so I'm gonna fix it with a post of a few more favorites! I would rank this band in my top 10, and I would say in the top 2-3 for newer metal bands. I saw these guys live, here in Texas, and they were pretty much EPIC!! So, without further ado, here's some more Avenged Sevenfold!!
I am listening to Linkin Park's song "New Divide" right often these times.
Found a nice remix of it: --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EkikhPD5Eg&feature=response_watch
The following extended remix I prefer even more than the official song - great beginning: --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkhoRmH3pdE&feature=related
Oh well...
...but at least much better than Eric Clapton...
I edited the radio-files on SWAT long time ago. So, when turning on any radio there, I hear the sound of "Let the bodies hit the floor" or some other metal-tracks...

My favorite ''dark'' songs:
Rammstein - Du hast (Just a good song)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=doTBT46wMvA
Drowning pool - Bodies (Very agressive, yet somewhat funny.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO_QntXc-c4
Linkin park - Session (More relaxt music.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZm1k9zEPBs
Rob zombie - Never gonna stop

''Kevlar, getting shot was never this fun before!''
For sure, "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor" is great.

I personally dont like the style of singing and combinations thereof with Screams or Shouts in Metalcore. So I prefer other Bands.
Check out some good ol' German Heavy Metal Bands:
Running Wild - Port Royal (and a little Hollywood lol)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qL-fE4QEl4
and Conquistadores
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RhJ2hBNerc&feature=related
Grave Digger - Heavy Metal Breakdown
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDS87q5fNww
and Excalibur
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na-R-wUTSII
Have fun with those.
And a new RocknRoll Band from Australia: Airbourne
Saw them live in Wacken twice.
