Me and my dad just went out and traded our Cheve Trailblazer for a Honda Civic SI. This car is awesome we went to panama city, and on the way back we got up too about 140!
The best gas milage we've got which has been from 27 to bout 29-30 mpg.
Which taking into consideration the whole way back we were on the highways going anywhere between 80 to 100.

Honda's are pretty good Cars considering, they are just about broken in at 100 thousand miles and they do get very good Gas Mileage...
