the new TG1 maps are dl to me super slow on the TG1 server. "0.1/sec" This was not a big problem as I spent tonight "votenextmap"-ing and then leaving the server and RvS game, and dl the new mapname on rvsgaming.com. Then installing the new mapname and rejoining TG1 immediately with the new map installed, trying the new map.....then repeating this for each map......until GB_Rabithole.....rvsgaming.com did not have it. I searched and then manually searched the list of G's. So I can't rejoin TG1 till the map rotates off of GB_RabitHole. Obviously the map came from somewhere but I failed to find it with Google.
This will probably be an issue for others, so WIZ, twang your magic twanger, lol.

GB_Rabithole can be searched-keyword "Rabbit Hole"
GR_Shipyard keyword Shipyard (Ghost Recon Shipyard).
As for the DL speed, we are aware of this, we encourage downloading from RvSgaming, not our Server...
And for better or worse, the new map list was only posted in the Members forum by En4cer.
once someone told me the name shown during in server dl was not the name it was available under....doh! silly me....I dl it with no problem.
Only place I could think of to check was the server info on this site, but they do not show the map names. Anyway I think MY problem is solved on this one.
I only mentioned the slow server dl speed so some clever person didn't post the inevitable..........."it should dl to your computer when you join the server" post.

The maplist is only posted in the Members section as TG1 is meant to be SAS members server.
If members care to bestow access to SAS_Friends, then the obligation is placed upon the member who grants the access to ensure that the maps are found and correctly installed.
We also do not provide the rapid download service via the game as it requires SAS to store the maps, which can cost $$. Instead we provide the info to where so other person has graciously stored the map.
Reducing our overhead always helps.
