Training sessions on PG 1

Training, is why we have a Proving Grounds and a Training Grounds, but I would like to see more of the style of games that happen on the TGs, occur on the PGs, like we do in SWAT.

I agree with spidey, it`s always fun to show to pubers some SAS teamwork style hehe.

Moreover, it`s a good way to get rid of rushers cause they will get bored of waiting on the planning.

It`s a good way to interest co-op minded players to join SAS (for my part it is those little public trainings that push me to fill up an application and, of course, the sympatic members )

I think public training sessions are one of our finest window to show public players what we are capable of.
Once they got a taste at it, they come back for more. A good way to recruit, and getting to know the ones why has applyed better.

I want to gauge what is the feeling of public players that are on our servers on a regular and irregular basis, would you like to see more training on PG 1.

I agree we need more training, The ones that listen are the ones that "Get It", the ones that Dont listen eventually Die quickly and Leave...We just don't do it as much as we Can.

Well, I'm sure he would have placed it in Training & Tactics section, if it would serve his purposes; but due to security issues, that forum section is no longer open to Joe the plumbers.

I wouldnt mind it on PG-1 also, but save the TG-1 for those that EARN it and want to go further. And of course the Live Ops stay just for TG-1. We want to keep it when they see the SAS they get the so called WOW factor at how Good we are in workin as a Team and bein able to complete each mission and with NO tricks so to say.

I probably can't speak on behalf of other regulars (if there are any left, haven't seen most of them for weeks), but as a casual co-op player I'd say: no.

PG 1 is basically the only decent hostage/mission server left on RVS, since the other co-op servers are either empty or 100% Terrorist Hunt.
These training sessions I've seen usually consist of SAS people doing everything while we are told to sit back and watch. Yeah, I'd rather have those 5 minutes of my life back instead of knowing how to grapple and hook or whatever.

While it is fun to try doing some advanced teamwork, the actual training I've seen is chaotic without TeamSpeak use and the things "taught" are painfully obvious, like how to throw a bang and clear.

I know I could just leave if I don't want the training, but when I was having fun before someone comes in and forces his training on us noobs, I'd rather have him not come in at all and just carry on dieing.

In my humble opinion, it would be better suited for the TG server, with those who are actually interested and willing to dedicate the time to become good at this game.

what SAS has going for it is it's nearly unique style of "play". Why would I have applied as a Recruit if I wanted to play like almost all the rest of the servers. I say, yes, put it out front why you are different.
