Has anyone here noticed that half the levels from vegas 2 are just raven shield levels?
They have the Oil Refinery, The Villa and a few others they took out of ravenshield and just changed up the level layout in small amounts. I started playing the game on multiplayer and just thought they were taking the levels from Raven Shield because they were good. Once i played through the single player I realized I knew most of the maps already.
Anyone else pick up on this?
Pretty Depressing Huh, and you thought you were getting a NEW Game.
Nope, just alot of "Eye Candy", better Explosions...cleaner more fluid movements...but then, all those UpGrades you had to do to find out its just the Same Game....
Kinda like how RVS has some of the original R6/Rouge spear maps.
Well do remember it is 'technically' a part of the same series, so some things never change that much.
Just like DooM and Doom II -- only Doom II was obvious 'pay us for more of the same' before it got released lol.
Originality is nice to see in a sequel, cloning... better left to after-market add ons imho.
A lot of stuff in RvS 'rolls' back through history to, in more ways then one lol.
Interestingly, SWAT4's departures from SWAT3 are probably what cause the 'loudest' shouting among die hards who waited so many years for a sequel.. that crapped on the best parts of the game but gave us new missions and eye candy lol.
I don't defend selling a game that is mostly old maps redone, but I do like that they redo classic maps that I miss playing on in ADDITION to the new maps. My main complaint is that I wish they would do them EXACTLY the same, and not change the layout here and there. If they are going to just redo an old game then they should say so up front. Anything else is unethical.....but then UBIsoft doesn't even respond to complaints/questions. I guess, when you are used to customers just being glad to get ANY product, the concept of Customer Satisfaction is just too alien.

They've always responded to me (eventually) when I've had a problem, actually providing more help then a run-around on the other hand is probably a different story hehe.
