BF2 Complete Collection

I just bought the Battlefield 2 complete collection with all expansion packs.

BUT, when im installing the game, it only installs regular bf2 and not the expansions. Might be me just being extremely stupid now, overlooking something.
So i can`t find none of the expansions packs at all. And the package contains cd-keys for all the expansions.

Can anyone help?

I had the same issue when i bought mine BF2+exp packs.
Now, i'm not a nerd, but when I installed it 2. time, both special forces and euro force came along.
hehe, maybe when I do this the 3. time, armoured fury is comming???

Did I hear a SAS BF2 server?

Yes a BF2 server...

It is unranked... which will keep all the jerks out of it.. but all the weapons are available based upon your personal unlocks.

The server is available to be booked via the Calendar... it will not be left running always... just turned on when we want to use it.

Currently the setup is not finished, but soon we hope.

I thought unranked meant that everyones rank was the lowest, and the only weapons you can pick are the stock ones. But if you can change that, it would be awesome.

UnRanked servers will allow you to unlock weapon kits, but NOT advanced unlocks.ie-the Third Unlocks for every Kit.
It will also allow you to set the map sizes, map choices, vehicles, no vehicles etc...

For example, it would allow you to set-up a 16 or 32 person server for urban maps only, no vehicles..mostly what I play in.

Only thing to watch is that EVERYONE who wants in the server MUST have the same versions
BF2
BF2w/ SF
BF2w/ euro pack
etc...

(i use to play in a BF2 urban map, great server..realized I had SF and Euro pack...installed them and now I can not join my favorite server... Sad )

The only way to get the 3rd unlocks is to have the Special Forces Expansion.

I own BF2 and BF2:SF but rarely play.

The sad thing is I've at least unlocked:

Spec Op: G36C, SCAR-L

Assault: G3A3, Flashbangs+F2000

Sniper: M95, L96A1

Medic: SA80, G36E

in the course of playing regular BF2 (SF installed but not played in years) and the only weapon worth the unlock was the G3 from Heckler and Koch hehe.

You don't like the L96A1? That is only the best sniper rifle out there if you know how to use it. Same thing goes for the M11 (Pump-Action Shotgun). If you know how to use that, you can dominate easily.

Sniping is one of the few things I like about fighting out-side. I find BF2's urban maps sorely lacking in depth but they make up with it greatly in volume Smile

When I first started playing I found the M24 SWS to be my best weapon, lethally effective even if standard issue.

The SVD was to weak to be worth while for serious range work but in the current version of BF2 it is powerful enough that it has become my single preferred weapon for 'street sniping' and situations where I need a sniper rifle for both close and far work. The fire rate makes a plus up close and the scope is the best for moving targets I've used, even if the power is still to little for extreme range.

The M95 I like for it's ability to shoot pilots out of choppers and I find it's scope very good for dealing with bullet drop but other then punching pilots lights out. I've generally found it an insufficient upgrade from the M24 unless you will be counting on one-shot kills more often (for which I've found it more effective) because good chopper pilots are less prone to getting sniped hehe.

The L96 from Accuracy International on the other hand for me is little more then a standard sniper rifle with a distinctive sound. In my experience it has been no more effective then the M24 or M95 for accuracy. The scope on it is the only plus I've seen and what good is it when I can still aim fine with the M24 and even the M95 until the target is about the size of a finger or the palm of a hand. When small target precision is needed at a distance I've found the L96A1 better then the M95 (when the target is less then half the size of the M95's aimpoint) but the need for that is to seldom compared to how long it took to unlock.

The L96A1 is very popular yes but not worth the upgrade price I paid lol.

The G3 I love, it has the accuracy I need for long range work yet the stopping power of the 7.62x51mm NATO and the better flexibility of hand thrown grenades make the close range work even better with that kit then the Stoner and Kalashnikov based rifles used by the Assault and Medic classes. I've used the F2000 but the only good thing about it over the AK101 is the grenade-launchers fire rate.

I've also found the Assault kits G3 rifle more useful (more power, more accuracy) then the Medics SA80 and G36E.

My next unlocks are likely to be for the Support and Engineer classes because I find the M249 a little too inaccurate these days for my tastes.

Man I love BF2's M249...you can shoot long range by shooting 1-2 round per burst, and when you have it, bunnyhopping doesn't help the other guy.
