it features:
-very high detailed surroundings
-very high quality graphics
-very big choise of weapons
-very good story during the game
-more than a few hidden passages
-even allows you to use cheatcodes (press ilm simultaniously)

Hmm, should look for the shareware files in ports some time.

I have the shareware Doom I and Freedoom (e.g. doom II replica) wad files on my laptop.
I've also played many a port of Doom, played Quake 2 on the PSX and Quake 4 on the PC.
Wolfenstein 3D, Quake, and Doom all have several ports for FreeBSD including the shareware files for when you lack the full data files hehe. Doom is actually quite nice on the prboom engine
There is also a few other derivitives in ports but sadly my laptops gfx card sucks so bad Doom and Supertux are kind of the best games it will run lol.
