Problem with RS on Vista

post the error message(s) if you want people to try to help you lol.

Other wise all I can say is the usual crap:

0/ Ensure that your firewall is setup to work with punkbuster (very important).

1/ ensure RvS is up to date.

2/ ensure video drivers are compatible and reasonably up to date.

3/ ensure directX is up to date.

4/ ensure Vista is up to date.

5/ find out if the PC is running a 32-Bit or 64-Bit version of Windows.

I shudder at the tought of my first windows Vista... but it's inevitably coming.

I only started using XP 'till after SP2 and that was just good.

Windows 7 (formerly codenamed Blackcomb, then Vienna) is expected around 2010.

However Microsoft had announced a revolutionary operating system called Cairo like in 1991 as the 'next big thing' a real wonder OS....

And people dare say Windows 95s UI was based on Cairo... compared to Windows 3.0, 95 looked like a Bloody Windows 4.2 !

The most stable for me was Windows 98 second edition.

It crashed less then XP (my software knowledge was smaller too) but when it crashed, it went all the way to BSoD.
That's what I like about XP: when it crashes, it usually recovers to the desktop.

I've seen that on support forums before when we get help postings for another product rofl.

press print screen, open microsoft paint, press control+v, save the file and upload it using imageshack.us and post the 'show friends' or 'direct link to image' links it gives you.

There is also a 'screen shot' key in the options and a console command that can take one.
