Hey SWAT-m8s.
Since I got my new computer, SWAT isnt running properly. Its making a lot of problems and the worst thing is, its kind of lagging like h**l (even in offline mode) Tryed to play it, but you have no chance to play it good, cause you are lagging like h**l. Till I havent found a solution I am off (with SWAT).
So to the RvS guys: I will be more on TG1 
Hopefully I will get this problem fixed or find an old computer somewhere, on which the game runs as known.

ok I think I have fixed it...hopefully..played some rounds today for testing it it looks quite nice...hopefully it doesnt mess up with me again...now i have to have a look at RvS if this tsill works after I changed some things.

AMD-Optimizer when you have an Intel processor?

I read many posts and talked to a lot of people who a more than just experts on chipsets a.s.o.
They said that it is always a try worth and if it runs smooth there is no problem. The funny thing is, after i installed the amd-optimizer on my intel-chip, RvS runs just great. I removed it...RvS runs crappy... :roll:

In the earlier days of dual cores, I manually set some games, incl. RvS, to specifically only use 1 core (mostly older gamer as I suppose they weren't multi-thread aware). But I haven't had to use this 'trick' for a while now.

but thats not the problem. Tried all games on single-core and there is no difference.
The games just dont match with the system I believe now....
RvS is playable with some tricks, but SWAT is just down.
My last hope is rebuilding an old pc like I wrote before.
We will see...

@ spidey: gave it to my dad. You should have seen the shining eyes and the big smile of the old man ;O) So no chance to get it back.
BUT he will get it back in a trade hahaha. I buy him a barebone especially for his needs and it will be his christmas present.....so he and me will be happy again ;O)
