Hooah !!!!! Perfect, with the servers IP being always the same -> That means I'm happy
The only value of a connecting by rather then direct IP would be if the actually servers host changes it wouldn't mean people updating their details.
Which has happened maybe 3 times in 2 years, 1ce was because En4cers ISP changed his IP, 1 was the server we have now, and the other was an intern server in between I think. I don't think the this one will be changing unless our servers change hosts again either.
To answer the original Question, rather than sorting out our Admin's own little 'noob' day
If i get you rightly...
You would like the TS address in your program to be = ts.sasclan.org?
If i am correct..this is not possible for a couple of reasons.
1/ the Ts. part, would be a subdomain on our webserver. Most hosting companies; for website based application. Will not alllow a 'constant' stream of data.
To put this in English.. They will close you down if you try to run it as a game/TS or Shoutcast server.
2/ your voice, on TS is transmitted as data. On a website, You pay for the data that you use. Far too Expensive to try and do it this way.
3/ im not sure that you can resolve an IP to a domain name. I know that you can do it the other way around. What im saying is, Converting that 4 octet IP into a subdomain, which is hosted on a seperate IP is far far too complex to even try and work out.
If you have that subdomain propagated by your direct DNS server, it will not have any traffic to the http://www.sasclan.org website at all... otherwise what you're thinking of is more of a routing/proxy/etc setup.
Also, networks work by IP addresses... domain names are just for convenience, and can be resolved by with a query. The opposite can be done similarily (i.e. reverse DNS).
agree
I'd settle for not having to type my login name every time I connect to the server....
Just add the server to your Local Address Book, Click connect, then connect again and you're in

Would this be relevant?

I think to do this we would need a new TS Provider.
