From what I've seen & heard, Vegas would be a fun game to play through single player... But then toss back in the game bin with a few other $5-20 games ^_^
absolutely, rogue spear is by far the best of the series. So old yet there are still quite of few online servers dedicated to it

A remake of all the Rogue Spear maps, for Ravenshield, would be awesome. Like The Met and Opera House for instance.
I believe I have played those maps in RvS... although I do not remember RS that well (played more of the original R6), I was on the opera house map on tango hunt where they were saying it was a remake from RS. Not sure about "The Met" but there's a pretty popular map called "met" on several servers. It's a pretty fun museum map but it's riddled with doorway glitches.
On vegas: have only played a couple hours on it, but it's pretty fun in term of the loads of bullets, cover, effects and atmosphere (gotta love insertion via windows with rope). However, it's very different from RvS... maps are more linear... the 'arcade' feel... you can always revive... etc. I actually found multiplayer advers multiplayer more fun. Problem for most people to try this (on PC) is its heavy system requirements (video card needs at least SM3.0), but the visuals are very nice (thanks to unreal 3.0)
I think raven shield is much more fun than Vegas because the tactics are more fun in raven shield, but still vegas has higher detailed carachters etc.
And Rainbow six : lockdown is fun I wouldnt have said no to an Lockdown SAS server.
Ohhh, I have some good memories from Rouge Spear.
Don’t remember all maps, but 747, oil tanker and the bunker complex was quite fun.
Got the Rainbow six with the Eagle watch mission pack. Never completed it though.
Maybe I should install them both for some nostalgic gaming times. hmmmm :roll:
absolutely, the opera house was my 2nd favorite map (next to the airliner.) Simply because of the difficulty. all the hostages on the stage surrounded by tangos creating a kill zone. to accomplish the level takes a level of planning, timing, and teamwork that i still havent seen on another game to date
don't think so cause the tactical values of Vegas are verry low

never played vegas. just raven shield and a demo of lockdown. lockdown is fun and raven shield 2, but vegas i don't think i'm gonna buy it
yeah maybe it just cost 10 Euro, but not that problem it was fun to play the demo. never played full edition, and i think i never buy it

Old rogue spear maps adopted to RvS are high on my test list, several have been used in live ops in RvS.

The best map that i enjoyed was Kutkins Spa map for both the Recon and Hostage Rescue missions. lots of fun on that
also the Naval Base was quite good aswell

well, i have r6 raven shield, maybe in time to come i gonna buy the add on: athena Sword.
