wow, i wounder how this will be sold and controlled cause this would virtually render tazors and such useless.

Anyone know how much it would cost?

They didnt test it on skin though...so it may not be completely useless

Well I'd be willing to bet that the application process for this stuff would make it available only to the proper channels (i.e. security forces, police, SWAT, military....). Still, it's strange to see, and I can't imagine how it would work- perhaps some sort of ultra lightweight polymer that "contains" the shaped EMD pulse inside the shirt/jacket/hat/what-have-you.

I'm glad they've come up with something like this for the cops who have tasers turned on them, but I'm a little uneasy about how effective it is.... god forbid some criminal gets their hands on a shipment of this stuff. Maybe it's just me being paranoid, but I don't like it...

"Thor Shield is a conductive material that works by completing the electrical circuit created by electrical weapons without allowing the electricity to pass through the wearer's body. G2 is only selling the material to police agencies and to the military, with the hope of keeping it out of the hands of criminals."

Well Merge, criminals who can get their hands on this stuff, may not either be the ones you dare take the risk using non lethal methods on.. or am I wrong?

Cool video though..
