IF they don't have US Citizenship I can understand harsher treatment if there is a good REASON to suspect them, not for say any one of Arabian decent coming through an Airport.

I'd be interested in the full text of the bill (Yeah, I'm a nut I read origenals more then comentaries!). I do know, if in my mind it's agasnt the constutional rights of any American citizen, it's got my aubjection as an American.

It's also no reason to bully foreign visters ether. When some body tries to go through a metal detector with a hand grenade in his pocket you better do what you can to find out why, within human deceny. Some body who hasn't done any thing wrong where their is no decent probable cause for it should be treated properly within their rights as a Citizen or a Traveler.

In fact, I think there was some issues regarding the Rights of Englishmen being viloated that helped bring the USofA into being.

I don't think the arabs are oppressing the Americans in the ecomonomic way the English did...

This bill basically legales all the stuff that was going on at Guantanamo's war bar, including torture. Only it won't be called torture but 'techniques'.

I think Ben was right when he said that Ghost but I hope the implementation they choose is right. I'm more concerned with who could be stuck in "interogations" and why rather then the means of questioning. Ya know after day in / day out things can get rash. I do try to keep out of politics but there are some things that are just deep down in some people about their home land. I also hope the meaning of that section of the Declaration of Independence of the USA will never have to be tested in the future by her branches of governement.

There should be a special room for these people. Somewhere for security to remove the pin, flip the spoon and shove it up that person's arse.

No one should be able to sign up for partial flying lessons. For example someone interested in only navigation but not in take off or landing should raise an eyebrow and a few red flags for the instructor.

When someone from a foreign country enters your country, it seems reasonable that the foreigner should declare his or her entry with your government and provide information about how to locate him or her while they stay.

If that foreigner happens to be on a list of nasty people, they should be denied access to the country. There is no inalienable right to global travel. If it's your country then it's your rules. If foreigners don't like it, they can stay home.

All borders should be defended even if the two countries are extreme allies. This way someone else can't use that unprotected border to harm either country. Sorry, but that is the world we live in. Until radical muslim terrorists are erradicated we all need either 1) fences and walls for protection. 2) kill them all. Option 2 seems cheaper and therefore more reasonable.
