Netherlands - Portugal was more of a world war football 3 then a normal match... 13 yellow cards, and in the end they played 9vs9!
16 yellows in total.
so thats 80,000 Euros in fines then.

Marco Materazzi got a ridiculous red card, so the penalty was pretty deserved.
Not when its a match winning situation, it was so obviously not a penalty, and to give it when OZ have absolutly no chance to fight back is just plain bribery. As Dave said, its Italy, what do you expect.

I hate how everyone is complaining now about all the yellow and red cards. That Portugal match in particular. Every single yellow card was easily justifiable, with the exception of Deco's last one. Harsh, maybe, but it's the players' fault and no one elses.
