Big spiders in georga!

I never new we had such spiders, be sides yours truely whose 5 foot 7 inches and 170lbs.

I was out covering the car, and met a spider (on the cover) that was like the size of my fist. It looked like one of my tarantula paper weights. Only it was like a chocochip/sand colored tan instead of mild brown, wih long and narrow body short haired body instead of fat and thick hair.

It must've been between 4 to 5 inchs across leg-to-leg. I geuss 10-12.5 some centimeters. And from the looks of it I assume it was a tarantula or close realitive.

I went inside to hunt down a hammer, it was gone when I got back. Man I should've slapped the bug catcher over it and took it to a pet shop!
