Think removing AOL is bad? Try installing it. Try installing it to a person's computer who is very computer illiterate.

Have you tried to leave before? In this recording the guy was calling to get his confirmation number for canceling the account. With out it, the contract you signed with AOL allows them to take the money out of your account, unless you’re planning on switching banks. This subject was on a talk show today, and in one of the callbacks the person’s credit card company told them to just cancel the card. Hopefully this situation leads to another round of class action lawsuits.

I remember my GOD Mothers kids had a problem like this. A good friend from my MechWarrior carrer used to call it "AOHell" I just call it "Bloat".

I've had little problems uninstalling the AOL trials that comes on new computers, now installing, configuring and kicking it in the nuts the new AIM (Trijon or w/e) is heck. Do I really need a browser, IM Client, Webmail, World Wide Address Book, Virus infector and Comercials in an IM Client? No thank you.

Give me gaim !!!!! (http://gaim.sourceforge.net/) (Cutting the crap out of IM)

well you know what they say, the longer they have a person on the phone the better the chances are they will sell them something
