SWAT4 Trouble

Hello everyone, I have trouble with SWAT4.
when I load a map or unload it, I see this:

It supposed to be a SWAT team, on my old computer all goes fine.
I don't know if it's a bug, but I think it's one..
I have re-installed SWAT4 5 times on my 2 Hard Drives..
I hope some one can help me...

-Thanks

Hello Direck

You said it worked fine on your old comp right? if its a new graphic card then it can be you need to download the latest driver or it can be you need to download the newst patch to swat 4

I reconize those walls. That is what they look like when no textures are applied.

Is the disk in good condition?

I have the exact same problem. Because it doesn't interfere with the actual game, I have just left it.

Annoyingly, sometimes after you complete a mission it will do the same, so you can't find the continue button, in which case you're buggered. But if you find a fix, please post it cos I wouldn't mind knowing.

I know...

It's happened to me before, and it is not a real issue. The texture you are seeing only comes up during the load/unload screen, but the game is loading in the background. So while the result is not pretty, the game itself is unaffected, and your gameplay will be as it was before with no visual corruption.

go into the map editor and see what it looks like, other than that, can't do much without more info.

I cannot fathom that the Lord has blessed us with logic and rationality and have us forgo their use.

Yes Derick, you were right. It's a pain in the arse though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but new drivers are supposed to be better and contain less bugs, no? I'm gonna have to keep using the old drivers since my menu has actually vanished using the newer ones. Great.

Does the Windows driver have prolems?

I know I installed the offical nvidia drivers on my BSD box and it destroyed my desktop.

Yeah the Windows driver is a bit crap really. I'd rather use the older nVIDIA version.

Mines 81.98 for Windows.

The latest FreeBSD Driver destroyed my Graphical end of things..... So I had to reformat my main OS.

Oh wait, sorry I think I misunderstood you.

The latest Windows one i'm running, 84.21, is crap. That, along with any of the more recent BETA drivers, doesnt' work with SWAT4, or TSS. The 81.98 Windows driver is the most recently released which has no problems with the game.

I don't use FreeBSD, just Windows and Mac OS, so I don't know anything about any other drivers.

nvidia releases drivers for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Solaris, and FreeBSD. Including x86/x64 Windows and several 64-Bit Linuxes. (most unix systems are 32-bit)

The current version of nvidia driver for FreeBSD/Linux x86/Solaris x64 slash x86 says 87.62 v1.0. Windows XP/2000 says 84.21, and most of the 64-Bit Drivers are in the various stages of low versioning.
