A police officer was patrolling the streets. Suddenly, he hears a female screaming from a nearby house:
"Don't kill me, John! Don't kill me!"
The officer rushes to the house. Upon entering the living room, he observes a dead woman on the floor. A smoking gun lies next to her.
A pilot, a plumber and a farmer is also in the room.
Without hesitation, the police officer arrests the pilot.

Has the police officer seen any of them before the time he enters the room and sees the scene you describe?
Both the Plumber and the farmer are also female, it was one of them shouting. The dead person was already dead before the screams. Which also points to the most obvious fact that the pilot was the only male in the room

Sounds good to me because plumbers and farmers are usually men so that distracts you from thinking that they could be women.
