Update:
The House of Commons has been "locked down" with no-one allowed in or out while police investigate an alleged incident.
It is understood the alert comes after someone was reported to have "thrown around" an unknown substance in the building's Central Lobby.
The person was reported to be "making claims" about the substance.
Scotland Yard is expected to release more information about the incident shortly.
