Yay for easter.

This morning, after we had breakfast at my uncle's, we were told we had only eaten the Br out of brunch. A flood of food is what followed... I love easter

Easter was derived from a pagan fertility ritual called Estar(something close to that, don't quote me on the spelling, but the pagan ritual, you can)
"Quick like a bunny", eggs having to do with a women's fertility.
It was adopted, to sway the pagan's(at the time who practiced this ritual) over to Christianity. It was never changed to the real purpose which is "The Resurrection of Christ".

only those who will IMAGE(http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/co/type/2/sasrand.png)

Indeed, Happy Easter to you all, while I do not celebrate myself, I know it to be a holiday of particular importance to Christians (especially Catholics, which I know because my grandfather is one.)

On a related note, a very large sum of "Christian" holidays fall on when they do, and have the customs that they do, based on the early christians desire to make the forced conversion easier to accept. You might have noted a hint of bitterness in my tone there, I will not explain further, suffice it to say, you won't hear from me again on the topic of religion, as religion is the very reason I play Ravenshield instead of Counter-strike, as I would be in a CS clan full time otherwise.

Sorry for the rant, I tend to ramble at 4:15 a.m. when I'm medicated and sleep deprived. Take care everybody, see ya on the server. Happy Hunting.

The only reason Easter and Christmas is important is the holidays and the gettogethers.
