SpywareStrike
SpyAxe
SpyFalcon
Spysheriff
WorldAntiSpy
SpyTrooper
SpyBan
SpyWiper
PAL Spyware Remover
Spyware Stormer
PS Guard.

These are fakes that given you evil fake warnings to force you to by there crap to remove the warnings - my boss got a really bad thing out of SpySheriff.

Some good stuff thats free
Adware: http://www.lavasoft.de/
Spybot S&D: http://www.safer-networking.org/
Windows Defender: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
I would not reccomend WinFixer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WinFixer

And there was some other one but I can't remember the name.

Hey spidey do you think one of those would fix my mouse problem. My mouse works when plugged in but cannot double click desktop icons or internet links. However when I unplug it im ok but its really slow when playing games then.

It wouldn't hurt to run them, exspecially if you vist naughty sites:P

In less it's related to a malware problem I doubt it'll help though. Are you still able to right click > Open/e.t.c. icons and does it effect all icons period?. Also have you tried checking the double click speed/rate under Control Panel>Mouse ? Maybe it's really low or tuning it might fix it not sure. In games, the major effects I've seen to mouse performance are: New/Diffrent or dirty Mouse Pads, (Or crud in the trackball/optical sensor) and the game / windows mouse settings. I personally work on near 100% sensitivity in most games. Also if it's a PS/2 mouse you might check to make sure nothings broken (like missing pin's). If you have another mouse on hand, or a buddy /w a spare try a diffrent mouse and see if it's the same, if it dose the same with anothe rmouse then it's the computer and not the mouse.

If you have a fancy mouse that came with a driver/tuning software disk, try updating the drivers from the company.

Best I can think of w/o more details.

Hi Spidey!

I have a cordless mouse and keyboard and the keyboard was isntalling its own mouse driver and conflicting with my actual mouse driver. This was causing the problem and not by me visiting
