Hmmm, looks like more or less its proportioniate to the population.
And also the UK is 22nd Wink

Obviously they ranked it according to regiment numbers of the best troops in the world

according to the russia nad USA figures at that time would it be safe to conclude that the USA has more people? Is that even possible? I also like how N. Korea has like almost half its population in the military

"Game over man." Pvt. Hudson. SAS 22nd E.V.R.

Damn, you have to compare those to their populations: 1/5 of chinas population is in the army! (Haven't checked the other countries tough)

The two countries that the world has its eyes on are North Korea and Iran and they sure have a lot of soldiers.

But well we have the best soldiers and the best technology, but for how long?

Last time I checked China didn't have very good troop quality, let alone India. Wink

Actually you didnt spot the decimal point.

Its actually under 1/500 according to those figures.

If China had 1/5 of its people in the army you would be right to be scared.

No debate:

it was a pun related to the ranking 22nd. Coincidental that the UK is 22nd which is home of the best special forces unit in the world The 22nd Rgt SAS.

Yeah, Iran has a lot of people, but they use ancient time aircraft. Even if they do manage to make a nuclear bomb (Btw, we'd probably blow them to **** by that time), they wouldnt have a good way to get it over another country. I know of only a few planes able to carry a nuke, one being the B-52 bomber, which is easily detectable on any radar. I do not worry about my own safety when it comes to that. But personally, I don't think they would target us anyway, nor do I think they will ever be a nuclear threat. They are kinda starting from block one. Plus, Notice how Russia supports them, ever wonder why some event in recent history might make them want to be nice to a country that could have nuclear weapons. Could it have something to do with an invasion from the Soviet Union? Who knows!

I cannot fathom that the Lord has blessed us with logic and rationality and have us forgo their use.

Pft they dunt need a bomber if they can make a bomb. You could ship it in a barge and blow the thing sky high near shore. If it was a dirty bomb, oh my frigging ...... Pray the Special Forces would be aboard to shoot the tangos.
