Lag problems... =[
I was on my computer yesterday, playing just fine on SWAT 4 on your server. I turn it the game off, leave the computer on, and walk away. I surf the internet a bit later, install a rather cheap, junk game, uninstall it and smash it quickly.
Then I get on the RVS server and I'm running at lke 800 ping, I usually run at 150 or below. I've completely defragged my system, optimized almost every setting, defragged and compacted the Registry, checked for hard drive problems, fixed them. I've even scanned the PC for viruses and spyware muliple times. But even still, I can't get my ping down on SWAT or RVS, and my Internet speed is suffering a great deal. There are spikes in the transfer, and yes, I've restarted atleast 10 times. If someone can help, please follow your heart and help this lowly peon.

You might have something running on your PC that you don't know about. You said you scanned for spyware but scanning with just one tool is not sufficient as different tools detect different things. The two I recommend are:
Ad-Aware - Click Here
Spybot - Click Here
Get em and run em.
You could also use the Windows Task Manager (press Ctrl + Alt + Del) to have a look at what's running - in particular watch the CPU consumption of each process - if something is running slowing you down then you should see it in there.
Do you want to know what happened? This will knock your socks off as it drove me out of my mind. After those hours and hours of scanning and fixing, my parents come home (I'm 16). They turn on their computer, and ya know, I'm like "Take a look at this crazy thing". The Internet runs PERFECTLY! In fact, I've never seen it run faster! BUT!! After about 30 minutes of sleep, here I am, telling this CRRRRRAZY story...but I am very tired, but I can't sleep either, so expect to see me dragging my half dead body in there.
