I will not.

Regiment though..

Noah have you even tried the demo?

If not I can tell you its absolutely crap, it feels like you are playing the console version, only slightly better.

Noah has tried the demo, but Noah sometimes likes to have brainless gaming sessions. Which is ok; sometimes we need a release from real games Lol

Well people will still buy it because its rainbow six somewhat however ied have to agree with the james quote "Its like playing time crisis" and I read in the UBI forums someone compared it to pong 2.

There was a pong 2? YEASH

And I liked Time Crises, was a good game for ARCADE play. Just like Area 51 and that house of the dead or w/e with the zombies.

Mindless fun, not tactical inless you doa sgt york.

was area 51 when you were in that ship on the original playstation lol that was a mad game.

Area 51 was an arcade game where you played in a "You shoot'em we walk ya" style shooter (like time crises, and a good old westren & cop shooter on the Sega Gen.)

You played a special forces like guy, sent in with a few goons to AREA 51 in Navada to find out what happened.

You get there and see the secret base is under alien control

and go on a shooting rampage threw the base, probaby battling an infection turning you into an alien

They also remade it into a more modren FPS for PC games I think.

I will wait to see other reviews before I make any purchasing decisions on Regiment or Lockdown. I know their is a lot of pessimism over the Lockdown demo. I did read a demo review about a month old from Gamepsot.com saying the demo pretty much reflected the console version of the game and that UBI was still tweaking the game to bring it up to PC standards before they release PC retail. Maybe they will fix some of the issues people are concerned about...

SAS_Shield is the man to talk to, for obvious reasons

Unfortunately, the issues are not techical problems or little things that can be fixed. It is that the whole game is completely un-tactical and the maps (at least in the demo) completely one-dimensional. On that bank map, at no point is there more than one possible route.

The best way to sum up the game, is "Time Crisis".

Except time crisis was fun. Man i loved that game.

I was like 11 at the time. But i still loved it.

Time Crisis is only fun if you arrived half an hour early for the cinema and need something better to do than stare wishfully at the pick and mix.

I read on UBI someone compared it to Pac Man 2. I guess this is because you control a ccreature in lockdown that goes through a linear level and eats everything
