No, Lockdown PC is not a port from the console version. We have been hard at work creating PC specific features, modified mission structure, with enhanced graphics, improved AI behaviors, and new combat model to give the player more flexibility in approaching challenges. We have done everything we can to ensure that this PC title is a unique and engaging game all its own.

Read the whole of that link anyway there is tons of info on there. This really will put aside ANY and EVERY doubt you might have had about this game. It really sounds like exactly our kind of game, better than SWAT4 even, provided they live up to their promises. It is starting to sound like a sequel that does huge justice to RvS.
I also noticed that amazon.co.uk has moved the release date forward to Feb 24, 2006. (but don't treat that as reliable!!)

Umm, amazon still says 24 Feb. I have no idea which is correct, if either.
Considering that inless things in my life change, I'll be getting it in June next year if it comes out in Feb of 06. Probaby good, b/c I'm going to rely on yall (my teammates) for weather the game is worth buying or pee'ing on. Before I choose GR3 or RS6 4LD.
The last game I paid for "just to have'em all" is now a COASTER UNDER MY DRINK! (Delta Force:Xtreme) so I've learned not to post exspectations on sequels. (Although, knowing RS3 RvS Lockdown PC should be awesome given the law of adverages.)
