I've encountered an issue I've had with SWAT4 TSS where randomly sometimes during a game my text simply becomes a blank space. Certain keys are changed so I thought it was my keyboard changing language.
EX: Cimeries: (anything from here on is invisible to me and other players)
I thought it was serverside or my connection at first but seeing that everything went fine and I could play just normally having it I thought it could be a keyboard issue or something wrong with the keyboard language that makes for invisible text. It occurs randomly during games, rarely but annoying.
I personally think it's a personal issue as everyone appears to hear of this for the first time. If anyone knows anything. Excuse me if it's been covered before on these forums or if this is not the right place.
Try altabbing out and then back in

Naturally that's the first thing I tried. Doesn't work, I have to restart game and I'm fine with that, it happens rarely. Just wondering if someone else has/had this issue and on how to fix it.
If you have a special keyborad..try a driver update

It depends from which SWAT 4 TSS version you have (Retail, digital, English, Russian, etc) because SWAT 4 English supports only latin alphabet whereas in such case if you have multiple languages installed on your system (Say for example Russian as 2nd) your keyboard may accidentally swap text input and because SWAT 4 doesn't support those "foreign" letters the text will be blank on your screen but readable to users who added support to their game for the letters.
You can add this support as well by tweaking some of the input files. Although I don't really remember which ones were to be tweaked. You can however check my SWAT 4 Tweak Guide here on forums and find the entry then fix your issue, or simply switch language switcher key to some other so no accidental input is changed.
This happens to me several times as well.

Thanks MAVEN, looks like you were right. I removed the auto-language switch key and haven't had it since.
