Greetings to the fine fellows at SAS. I have been having a problem recently with Admin Mod v13 that few people have managed to fathom. When I am on an SAS mod server I am able to use the admin panel and do what I need to do but when I play regular TSS I cannot access the admin UI and am instead left with a grey box in the centre of my screen and only a few limited buttons such as "start game" and "end game" in the bottom left corner. The main reason I came here was to see why it works on the SAS mod server and not on normal servers as one of the developers is a member of this clan.

I'm not a specialist on how SWAT 4 admin works, but you should not have admin if you don't hold the rank of trooper.

In the past, were you ever able to use the admin panel on the ETS TSS server? What happens when you press Esc after you get the gray box?

I have never been able to use the admin mod on the TSS server. When I click the grey box it takes me out of the in-game menu, pressing escape doesn't do anything to the grey box

That's gez mod. I'll check my files, but there is likely something missing from either your server's swat4xdedicatedserver.ini or from one of your own game ini files that is preventing the game interface from appearing. Find out if other ETS admins see the interface, then you know it's your files. Compare your inis against the mod inis and look for differences in ammod related blocks.

Not sure about it, but ETS TSS server runs MarksMod, doesn't it? The SAS-Mod installs just the GEZ mod per default.
V13 is a gez mod i believe. If ets runs mark mod and you dont have the client installed that may be your issue.

I have the same problem with the marks mod equivalent which is the Advanced Client Mod. Marks mod and Gez mod are pretty similar and other members are able to use both client mods. I have run out of things to try personally so it looks like I will be using the console to do things...

Markmod is the continuation of Gezmod, after Gez decided not to develop it any further, however the two are not inter-compatible, you linked us to Gez, but others say it is Mark...You need to make sure which mod is running and slowly and surely follow the instructions..It should work. My advice is to uninstall any admin mods you have, check what the server is running, go and get that mod and slowly install it.

Just my personal experince: the GEZ client mod works also with a MarksMods server, admin panel is displayed and works correctly.
well it looks like I am going to have to manage with the console cmds... Just hope I don't have to kick anyone with too much urgency...
