Well I wanted to reinstall SWAT because I often have lags and crash. And to reinstall just SWAT worked excellent, but when i wanted to reinstall TSS something really strange happened. Though i deinstalled it before it showed (On software screen) it was still installed, so i looked up the system for swat - ContentExpansion was deleted completely! So i restarted the PC, but then something really strange happened. I tryed to install it once more and then it said "Error Number: 0x80040707"! (See image)
I tryed to deinstall again, but - same error!
Maybe someone of u knows what to do

Error and Numbers arent a good thing when it comes to computers.
Have you tried updating any drivers.
But i am not a computer expert.

There isnt a Sierra folder anymore, but software screen still says SWAT 4 - TSS was installed (see image)
I'm installing again now though.

thats what i meant Booone. Deinstall it and then go ahead with the installation again.
If you still have problems, look at the article Spidey posted.

Still getting worse. Now I can't even install SWAT (see image). It stops after half, because of a reason I jsut don't understand, and i can't go on then - just try again or abort.
SAS Rocks!!!
Run everything as admin wen u install go to cd drive and right click run as admin--if not got to the folder wer the error has said to be ecoured and right click it make sure u have permission to acceess the folder.
If you notice this notice you will notice that this notice is not a notice.
Oi Boone, missing you on swat
Sometimes when you de-install, the uninstaller leaves behind entries in your registry.
When I run into this problem, which on my old machine happens sometimes, I enter the registry and remove all references to the S4 games.
This happened once when I tried to reinstall BF2. After removing all references to the BF2 series games, the install went smoothly.

have you cleaned the registry as I posted it in my first answer?
full deinstall of all components as described
cleaning of the registry as described
maybe you must go even under: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products and then search in the folders in this tree for SWAT.
If there is still a entry of SWAT, your system thinks the software is still installed.
To me it looks like you made some major errors while deinstalling this the very first time.
Yes I have done it just like that but the Sierra folder wasn't available. And I can find Installer under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. And atm I'm wondering because i can't install just SWAT anymore - everytime it appears a strange error which says: That and that file couldn't be open or sth.
And also I'm thinking of just reinstalling my whole PC to clean it up and hopefully make SWAT work again.

Good luck, Booone
