2001 hmm.. SAS began in 2001? you might be right, cause i was a freshman then in high school. im thinking SAS began back in 1997, but that was probably when SWAT3 first came out. But thats where SAS originated anyways, sometime in the SWAT3 days. And besides I still find it amazing SAS is still around. I dont know any teams that have managed to hold together through multiple games like this. Its too bad a lot of the original guys arent around anymore though. Make sure they are remembered
Yeah I still pop in the server on occasion. Might not for awhile though now that schools starting back up, but I'm sure I'll catch you again sometime.
My man Shield, its been too long bro. We have to play again one day.
for sure

I think SWAT3 was released in 1999 and they added Online play in a patch released some time in 2000 but don't quote me.
I know SWAT3 CQB had no online play, you had 5 man missions with the choice of M4 Carbine (BeanBag/JHP I think), MP5A2 (FMJ/JHP), MP5SD2 (FMJ/JHP), Beneli M1 (buck/slug), and a Colt M1911A1 (FMJ/JHP). I think SWAT3: Elite Edition was sold with the patchs+multiplayer addon installed, and a lot more weapons. Then came the Tactical Game Of The Year (GOTY) Edition I got, with 10-Man games, all the patches and a bunch of mod's "blessed" by the company installed, with a bonus 'SWAT Tactics' CD-ROM.
I never really got to play with the [SAS] in SWAT3, just a few games with some Members when I was a Rct and later a LCpl. It was however my time playing SWAT3 that made me remember [SAS] and Raven Shield
Very nice to hear from you again Jay, I miss playing with you and getting mowed down by your 249
Hope all is good on a personal level.
