I come from a community that have a rather unique feature on there site which I think works quite well and might be of use here.
Its called a shoutbox over there but you could effectively use the same thing and call it something else if you like. Basically its a box on the front page of the site available to members to chat to each other, you type what you would like to say and hit enter and it gets displayed in the box... simple 
It is a great asset to the site and I thought it might be beneficial to your site, hope you like the idea

If I may I'd like to ask if you would consider new games? BF2142 man myself as its the only online game I'm any good at
I am looking at getting GRAW2 as it looks awesome, playing the demo right now.
I think those games are too arcadish for us Exhile
We are a clan that use similar to real life tactics, and those two games cant provide that in the way we wont it to be. So there might be a while till you see a new game played here, but I reckon Ground Branch is next in line 
Just the fact that these games cancel out the value of standing still horrifies me.

While we're at it... in the shoutbox background, there are 2 green dots. No big deal... but they are indeed in there... annoying observant users :). (You might not see them if your monitor has extremely low brightness.)
