The other night i was trawling the forums for a particular topic. I could not remember the title nor the author :ohwell: So i was trying hundreds of differant permutations in the search engine. All i could remember was what month the topic was started.
So here's the suggestion; some kind of date filter on the search. It doesnt need to be exact just maybe month and year.
Also some of the news items are well out of date

Thats because theres never any real news.
You could run the normal search and sort the results by date. That has almost the same effect.
i have found that the search option isnt the hottest as when I ask to search by author it will give me every topic that eitehr htat person started or posted in

yes Shield.
I was actually looking for the original tragic topic about Sini. if i could use a date i would have found it more or less right away, it took me nearly an hour, because the search returned 10 pages but when i went to next it said 'no results'

I usually try to supply as many keywords as possible on the given topic or subject (if mutli-topic) when I use forum searchs. vorks 4 me.
Those looking for the original announcement about Sinister, will find it at this link.
